Please consider supporting Corry RAILS during the 2026 Erie Gives campaign.
As a very small non-profit organization that is undertaking the restoration of an important artifact from Corry’s industrial past, funding is difficult to come by. We have great appreciation for the donations we have received from individuals and grants.
Right now, a major need is funding for the reproduction of the locomotive’s boiler. The original boiler will be maintained while a detailed reproduction is being constructed that will be operational. It is currently under construction in Maine, and we hope to have it back in Corry within a few months.
Your financial support means a lot to us and the completion of the only mostly original Climax A locomotive, manufactured in Corry in 1902 and shipped for use in the Alaskan Gold Fields.
The story of our Climax A313 can be found on this website. And, we invite you to visit the restoration building to see our progress.
